The 2020 Chevrolet Trax has a trim level for everyone
One of the most versatile crossovers on the market, the Chevrolet Trax, comes in three different trim levels that range from great to amazing, as even the base trim gets a huge list of standard features.
Before we dive into the trim levels, let's first take a quick look at the Trax. It's an entry-level, baby crossover that sports small exterior dimensions and a surprisingly spacious interior.
It's reasonably priced and strives to over-deliver every chance it gets.
All trim levels tap the same 1.4-liter turbo-4 that produces 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. That's more than enough for a responsive ride considering the Trax's small proportions. For all-weather confidence, the All-Wheel-Drive is just $1,500 extra on every trim.
Now on to the base Trax model dubbed the Trax LS. It comes with 16-inch painted aluminum wheels, remote keyless entry, a rear vision camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, daytime running lamps a 7.0-inch color touch with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 3.5-inch driver information system, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, OnStar services, steering wheel-mounted controls, halogen reflector headlamps, and the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system.
The middle trim is called the LT and comes with everything under the LS trim level to which it adds cruise control, remote start, LED tail lamps, LED daytime running lamps, roof-mounted side rails, deluxe cloth seat trim, heated power outside mirrors, and the SiriusXM satellite radio.
But for those looking to splurge, the Premier is the only viable option. With it, you get all the features listed above plus keyless open, a power sunroof, fog lamps, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a premium 7-speaker Bose sound system, Forward Collision Alert, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Side Blind Zone Alert, and Rear Parking Assist.
The Premier makes of the Chevrolet Trax a luxury crossover SUV and it comes with a surprisingly affordable price tag.
The 2020 Chevrolet Trax is a car that over-delivers. It's a firm favorite in a segment that's rife with competition and packed with some of the best vehicles on the market as every manufacturer wants to attract a piece of the crossover car class by giving away more for less money. It's rare that a crossover stand head and shoulders over its competitors but the Chevrolet Trax does just that.
But don't take our word for it.
