Buick Envision Trim Levels Available to Connecticut SUV Shoppers
Don’t be fooled by Envision’s bumblebee demeanor. Just like its Transformers namesake, the Buick Envision packs a punch.
It should, considering how competitive and crowded the small, luxury crossover market is. Every car manufacturer out there sends their champions in the arena to fight over the hearts and
wallets of prospective buyers, yet the Envision manages to win quite a few of those fights.

Intriguing since the Envision is not the sexiest SUV out there, let’s be fair. Even so, it’s one of the most sought-after small luxury SUVs today. How?
Three words.
Reliability, affordability, and features.
Tons and tons of standard features for a fraction of the price of its far poorer-equipped contenders. Don’t take our word for it, let’s take Envision’s five trim levels one by one so you can see for yourself.

Envision Base – one of the best base trims ever
Here at Northwest Hills we’ve been selling Buicks for more than 20 years.
In all that time we haven’t come close to seeing a luxury SUV so well-equipped yet so incredibly low-priced.
Take a look at what Buick offers with every base Envision model:
• A 2.5-liter inline-4 engine with 197 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque
• Rear vision camera
• Hands-free power liftgate
• Heated front seats
• Eight-way power driver’s and front passenger’s seats
• 4.2-inch color driver information center
• A 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot
• Push-button start
• LED daytime running lights
• LED taillamps
• High-intensity discharge headlights
• 8.0-inch touch
• Bluetooth connectivity
• Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility
• Four (4) USB charging ports
• Dual-zone automatic climate control
• Rear parking assist
• The Teen Driver Pack
You get comparable lists of features from full-size luxury SUVs on mid-size trims that come with close to twice the price tag.
Buick made an incredible offer with the Envision, so we’re not surprised by the huge volume of prospective buyers we get because of it.
Envision Preferred – not as much a trim as a facilitator
Because the Base trim is so well equipped, Buick introduced a step up the ladder where customization is the primary target.
The price difference between the Base and Preferred trims is insignificant and it gives you access to:
• The Highway Safety Kit
• The Active Package for Trailering
• All-weather floor mats and liners
• All-Wheel Drive
• A sunroof
• Illuminated front-door sill plates
Most prospective buyers just need to add a few extra options to the Base trim to end up with a perfect crossover for their needs. That or they choose the mid-level Envision trim dubbed the Essence.
Speaking of which...
Envision Essence – affordable luxury
For Envision’s most ordered trim level, Buick took all the standard features under the Base model and upped the ante by adding:
• A heated steering wheel
• Heated second-row outboard seats
• Tri-zone climate control
• Perforated leather-appointed seating
• A leather-wrapped steering wheel.
On top of these comfort-enhancing features, the manufacturer also included advanced safety features like:
• Blind Spot Monitoring
• Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
• Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert
There's little more you can ask for than what you get with your Essence Envision, but for those that want it all, Buick created the Premium twin set of trims.
Envision Premium – high-end quality at Wall-Mart prices
The first major upgrade of the Premium trim is a new standard powertrain in the form of a 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine that can produce 252 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. And that’s plenty considering Envision’s small dimensions.
Future owners also get standard All-wheel Drive plus:
• Forward Collision Alert
• Following Distance Indicator
• Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
• A 7-speaker BOSE premium audio system
• An upgraded 8.0-inch driver information center
• Front and Rear Park Assist
• In-Vehicle Air-Ionizer
• The HiPer Strut front suspension that will optimize your tires’ contact with the road
Envision Premium II – take everything home
Envision's top of the range trim is the Premium II. It includes everything that comes with the previous trim level and makes sure to add almost all other optional features left.
So, those lucky enough to own an Envision Premium II will enjoy perks like:
• Ventilated front seats
• Navigation
• Wireless charging in the form of a pocket where you can place devices to charge automatically
• A driver’s heads-up display
• Automatic high beams
• Thigh support for the driver
There’s no better way to get a feel for a car than by driving it for a while.
