With a financing contract, you're paying a monthly fee to own the car at the end. With a leasing contract, you're paying a fee to rent the car and be allowed to use it, but you will not own the car at the end of the contract, the dealership will.
It's basically the difference between renting an apartment and getting a loan to buy that apartment. In either case, you'll still be making monthly payments, but one will get you the apartment at the end while the other will just allow you to use the apartment for as long as you’re making those payments.
Leasing a car will get you a brand new vehicle every time the lease starts, which is usually every three years. It will also get you lower monthly fees and a mileage cap of roughly 15.000 miles per year. If the cap is exceeded, you'll have to pay extra for every mile.
Financing means a higher monthly installment, but you'll own the car at the end of the contract, which means that as opposed to leasing, with financing the monthly payments will stop eventually, and you'll be able to use the car without owing anything to do so.
