TAKE A LOOK AT THE NEW CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER'S SAFETY AND CONNECTIVITY

Chevrolet revives the Trailblazer nametag after a 12-year break from production. The model comes back fully reinvented, as one of the safest, most entertaining, and roomiest small-sized crossovers on the market.
Today we'll look at Chevrolet Trailblazer's connectivity and safety features, but before we get to that, let's swiftly get a better understanding of just how good the latest rendition is.
First off is exterior esthetic. Starting with a blank canvas, the designers at Chevrolet were able to tap into Chevrolet's new design language and create a dashing, modern-looking car that you'll be proud to be seen in. The Trailblazer borrows from Camaro's nose but ads an imposing front grille and a contrasting roof that creates a floating illusion.
Under the hood, future owners get on in two options - either the 1.2-liter I3 engine that will belt out 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque or the 1.3-liter that will deliver 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. Both can be fitted with a continuously variable transmission and the 1.3-liter also gets a 9-speed automatic.
As far as standard features go, they're plenty.
All Trailblazers come with Chevrolet's latest infotainment system and a 7.0-inch color touch that gets upgraded to an 8.0-inch on higher trims. You also get standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, plus Bluetooth audio streaming, both USB-A and USB-C ports, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
That's a list that includes all modern connectivity features and that will keep the driver and passengers well entertained, even on long commutes.
In terms of safety features, the standard deck comes with Automated Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane-Keep Assist and Lane-Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, and Automatic High Beams.
For an extra $620 you can fit an optional safety package onto your Trailblazer that will add Adaptive Cruise Control and a Mirror-Based Rearview Camera. Blind-Spot Monitoring comes for just $345 more.
With all options added, the Trailblazer is in line with any luxury crossover but comes at half the price.
That's why many have already labeled the Trailblazer a bargain. The brand-new rendition over-delivers every chance it gets and promises to offer one of the best value per dollar spent ratios on the market.
If you're in the market for a small crossover that's every bit as modern as any 2021 releases, handles great in and out of town, and far exceeds your expectations in terms of standard features and interior roominess, then you should be looking at the brand-new Chevrolet Trailblazer.
