GMC YUKON TRIM LEVELS

Designed with large families in mind, the GMC Yukon is a no-nonsense, tried-and-true partner. It will not only take you and your entire family from point A to point B, but it will also tow half your living room along and get you all there safely, in style, smothered in comfort, and surrounded by tons of tech.

A luxury SUV to begin with, the Yukon comes with plenty of standard features, so every higher trim increases comfort to higher and higher levels. It's a matter of great Vs amazing when it comes to Yukon trims.

Even the basic (which is anything but that) SLE trim level includes hoards of standard features. It looks more like a medium-upper sedan trim and here's why.
SLE - the basic trim that looks and feels like luxury

First off, the powertrain is a 5.3-liter V-8 that will churn out an impressive 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Enough for a smooth ride inside and outside the city's limits plus some extra power so you can tow your family's I don't know... 30-40 bikes? It's a beast. One you can rely on.

Like all GMC SUVs, the exterior design is unapologetic. The car is strong and it commands a presence on the road.
18-inch bright machined aluminum wheels, imposing fog lamps, halogen projector-beam headlamps, and sharp lines give it a macho yet refined look.

Inside you'll be shocked at how much room you're getting. A large car, by all means, it makes good use of its proportions so that the driver and its passengers enjoy as much of it as possible. Fold down all but the front row and you'll get a huge cargo space of 94.7 cubic feet. That means you can add three extra mountain bikes to the 40 you're already towing.

Now for the goodies list. The Yukon SLE comes with a 9-speaker BOSE premium audio system, a rear vision camera, a 4g LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and leather-appointed front bucket seats, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, an HD radio plus a SiriusXM satellite radio trial subscription, front and rear park assist, tri-zone automatic climate control, and the Teen Driver technology pack.
That's a lot by any standard, and it only gets better with the SLT trim.
SLT - from great to wow

With the SLT trim level you get every featured included in the SLE package to which GMC adds the following perks:
A hands-free power liftgate, keyless start, IntelliBeam headlights, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row outboard seats plus a heated steering wheel. And while we're at it, heated outside mirrors as well.

Probably the best new addition, though, is the automatic emergency braking system, one of the most modern active safety features on the market.
The SLT also allows future owners to opt for a power sunroof that can't be mounted on base trim models.
Denali - the king of luxury

Now for the Mac Daddy of Yukon trim levels, the Denali.

Prospective buyers lucky enough to own a Yukon Denali will get all the features listed under the previous two trims plus an 8.0-inch driver information center, navigation, a heads-up display, power second-row bucket seats, wireless charging, an upgrade to 20-inch aluminum wheels plus the BOSE Centerpoint Surround Sound audio system.

Now that's all fine and well but Denali also comes with an engine upgrade. Standard for this premium trim is a 6.2-liter V-8 that will produce 420 horsepower and a massive 460 pound-feet of torque. It can tow pretty much anything you put behind it.
